The Ardblair Stones are nine reinforced concrete spheres ranging in weight from 18-152kg (40-335lbs).
The Stones must be loaded sequentially from lightest to heaviest (without the aid of tacky) onto whisky butts.
The whisky butts are a height of 132cm which is equivalent to 52 inches.
The event is judged on the time taken and the number of stones successfully loaded onto the butts.
The Ardblair Stones are an annual feature of the Blairgowrie & Rattray Highland Games which is held in Perthshire, Scotland.
The Stones also go on tour from time to time, they may feature at Festivals, Shows, Expositions and Highland Games.
The Ardblair Stones are free to participate in, although there may be a charge to gain access to the venue in which they are located, sometimes this may simply be a donation towards charity.
Anyone may participate in the Ardblair Stones, regardless of their sex, age or physical ability and there is no maximum time limit.
